FoLLI was founded in 1991 to advance the practicing of research and education on the interfaces between Logic, Linguistics, Computer Science and Cognitive Science and related disciplines.
Each year FoLLI organizes the European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI). The Association is involved in the publication of the Journal of Logic, Language and Information (JoLLI) and the book series FoLLI Publications on Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI-LNCS).
FoLLI manages a mailing list with information of relevance for the research community. More information on the list, including information how to subscribe can be found here.
FoLLI joins the international community in condemning the military invasion of Russia in Ukraine. As a learned society, FoLLI expresses a special support for the Ukrainian academic community of researchers, teachers and students.
We appeal to the international scientific community to cooperate on every possible supportive measure that may help students and university staff in and from Ukraine. We invite all members of our Association to inform us about their local supportive initiatives, so that we can help with spreading the news, and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Peaceful scientific interaction of academics and students from all nations at conferences and schools fosters mutual understanding and respect. FoLLI encourages all academics and students to participate in its events, regardless of their nationality.
